Here we have a great looking 1960 B.S.A. A10R Super Rocket finished in stunning red.
The Super Rocket was the improved version of the Road Rocket with a new alloy cylinder head with cast-in inlet manifold, bigger valves and compression ratio increased to 8.5:1. The crankshaft was also stiffened and the clutch was also beefed-up. A better camshaft raised power output and a lower 1st gear increased acceleration off the line. Brakes were also improved to full-width items.
This is a lovely example which is very original and a classic B.S.A. pre-unit twin and only from GB Motorcycles, Wiltshire’s longest established dealer.
