1977 A.J.W. Fox Cub 50cc
Here we have a rare 1977 A.J.W Fox Cub 50cc which was only first registered in Apr 1983.
Powered by the world famous Minarelli 50cc fan-cooled two-stroke engine with automatic clutch running in an oil bath, and auto-return choke. Legally classed as a moped it could have pedals or as in this case a kick-start.
The rest of the bike is mainly all-British, including black stove-enamelled frame and telescopic forks and rear swinging-arm.
At the time of this bike’s manufacture A.J.W was run by Chinwood Ltd., which was wound up in 1978, but the release of the liquidated machines did not occur until much later, hence this machine’s late registration.
So all-in-all a really collectible rarity which can only appreciate in value.
